I believe Berti is trying to lead the troops of to sunnier climates in September, for a friendly match against Spain as a build up to the opening World cup games.
I'd defo be interested if anyone is organising anything.

So the Players want to go, teletext are organizing the holiday through (Teletext Holidays) but unfortunately everyone forgot to tell the Spanish FA.......oops!! Still to be confirmed.
The SFA have announced their schedule of fixtures for 2004/2005, which includes a free date in their diary for an away friendly on Thursday 2 September 2004. The rumour mill has the likely opponent for this game as being Spain. So there could yet be another outing for those sombreros currently gathering dust in cupboards up and down the country.
