Please tell me why Walter Smith is getting away scot free when it was his incredibly stupid and niave substitutions that cost us the win? Had Berti made the same Substitutions and lost a 2 goal cushion he would have been strapped to a horse and dragged through the streets of Mid Calder by his testicles. Yet King Walter is void of critisism.
There was no need for a keeper change. Craig Gordon is our No1 and will play against Italy. Why bring on Douglas? Please don't give me the "experience" theory. Douglas has played for Scotland more times than we care to admit. Kenny Miller would have easily went on to score again. He is also a definate starter against Italy, so why bring on a Riorden? As for bringing on Anderson........PHUCK SAKE!!!
This was our downfall and the buck stops with Smith. He's on his last legs and better get his act together. Just as well he only plays ONE freindly a year or he would have been sacked by now, eh lads........

Someone take away that man's pear cider. You lose 2-1. 1. Agree, Craig Gordon should have played 90 mins. 1-0 2. We all know what Pressley can (or cannot) do. Experience for Anderson. 1-1 3. Perfect game for Riordan to get on. We know what Miller can (or cannot) do. 1-2 (mind you, there might have been an arguement for keeping him on, not often he looks like a world beater!)
