If it wasn't for Sven doing a scuppering job from the inside then Id be a bit wooried about England having a chance in the Finals.  But thankfully the Swede hasnae got a clue about how to use his squad or infact select his squad to do any real damage....

This must be a Celtic thing (micks and taffs also) as you miss the point every time over this.  The ONLY ones asking you to get behind England during the world cup are your own press.  I don't remember English people ever suggesting you should.

I was born in the north east of england and all I can say is that my mother was in labour for 12 hours and I hate the fact that she not jump in a car and cross the border into scotland and have me delivered in a scottish hospital,that way I would not have association with the mentality of the english.I have many friends who are english and this friendship will continue regardless of results in the world cup.

However although I have a semi english accent I wear my kilt and follow scotland with pride no matter what game way are playing.It is the constant mentality of the english media that sticks in our throats it is not that we are jealous nor do we need to jusify ourselves in explaining why we hate your team and the english media

The shopkeepers, householders & car owners who had their windows & doors smashed in were so overwhelmed at the tolerance, sympathy and compassion of their fellow countrymen that they've failed to have the damage repaired because they know it's only gonna happen all over again tonight.
