I know they should have been promoted and I think the **** clubs that voted against it are in no way interested in the theory of "Competition".

But in all honesty, the SPL is a boring league.
We know who will be champions next year: Celtic
We all know who will be runners up: Rangers
The rest of the league will play for third place and consider it the best they can do and will gain some sort of satisfaction from being the first of 10 losers.
At least Caley can start next season on even ground, withe all 12 clubs going for the title.......I wish the same could be said for the:
SelfPreservationLeague
The Scottish game is a joke and unfortunately not a funny one. We can all carry on supporting this farse by purchasing our season tickets without even asking ourselves WHY???

Scottish Game : RIP

Everyone knew the rules when the season started. Now I'm not saying the rules are correct, but that was the situation. Thankfully they are now changing them BEFORE next season starts.

So please advise me as to why were Clyde told they could share with Killie if they won promotion and likewise ICT told the could do the same with Aberdeen? This was afterall said to them by no other than the very people who's rules you are referring to?
Surley the SPL knew the rules???? Nope, they changed them on April 14th and then changed them back again on Monday. Not because of any other reason than Partick Thistle (Scum) would have apealed and their appeal would have prevented next years SPL from kicking-off.
Oh no!! The very thought of the SPL being delayed........

The word is appeasement. The sudden realisation that no one is going to meet the criteria and "oh fc*k, we should have changed things before the season started". Trying to unravel things without looking intransigent or stupid. As we can see it doesn't work.

Who are the SPL and why are they here?!

**** 10,000 seats we want 10,000 terraced areas!  We pay the money for theses talentless games so we should have a say in what meets what!

Its taken for to long for them to wake up.

Bring back the play-off too!!

You take seats out now and UEFA dictates you don't play in Europe in your own stadium, not that it matters to Hearts mind you young sir....

Uefa could step in to sort out the promotion-relegation wrangle plaguing Scottish football.

European football's governing body has told BBC Scotland it wants the Scottish Football Association and the Scottish Premier League to resolve the issue.

But the matter looks certain to rumble on for weeks yet, with Partick Thistle threatening legal action if a second vote grants Inverness promotion.

A Uefa spokesman said: "We will help solve the problem if need be."

However, European football's governing body would have to be asked first before becoming involved.

I hope that this SPL farce runs long enough to delay the start of the 2004-2005 season. Only then will the idiots in charge be forced by Uefa to take stock of their actions/responsibilities and resign from SPL Ltd. These inept businessmen have brought OUR game (not theirs) to it's kness

  • 11 out 12 clubs in their company are on the verge of administration.
  • 10,000 seater stadia, yet average gates (outside OF) ar 6,000
  • Signed a TV deal with a company who have no way of hounoring the 40 million pound??
  • Voted to dock 10 points from their clubs in admin, when every club (PT Excempt) are all in states of Administrative collapse.

Uefa have to get involved and hand the reigns of the Scottish game to the SFL or the SFA.
We need 3 leagues of 16 teams, two up two down with play-offs between the 14th and 3rd team respectively.
Football is part of the entertainment business. Which means it is public aimed and for the consumer. Why don't these people listen to it's customers and work at getting our national sport back on it's feet.
