Standing at the bus stop with the shopping in my hand....eh I mean stading at the Stereophonics gig in Glasgow last night just after the band had gone off stage before their encore the crowd began singing the national anthem. There was a real sense of pride about the place and its amazing how one away win can lift everyone, even if some of the people in there weren't into football you knew fine that Scotland had actually done us proud for the 1st time in a long time.
As the phonics came back on to the stage Kelly Jones silenced the crowd and told us the bad news that Wales had been beaten however the good news was England had been beaten by N. Ireland! The crowd went crazy and suddenley chants of 'easy, easy' went up.
