Did anybody listen to that clydbanksuporting-poor-excuse-for-a-weegie of a man today?

He and a few callers were saying that the Tartan Army were nothing but a bunch of 'rag-tag supporters' and that we are an embarrassment to our country cause all we do is get drunk and flash our ar5es off!(true to an extent - but thats our culture)

He went on to say that we only get awarded these fairplay prizes only for our behavior inside the ground.  Well what about our fundraisers over the years.  The gifts to the Lithuanian orphanage or the head shaving in bosnia for children in need not to mention the sunshine appeal!

The mans a fanny.  The Tartan army are a credit to this country and those that think otherwise are too bone idle to get off their arses and actualy go to games!!!  It is those people that are resposible for the empty seats at hampden and its those people (in general) that wave the tri colour or the UJ week in week out and would rather support ireland or england for no reason other that bigotry!  These guys should get a grip and get behind THEIR country.

Any Scot who thinks Scotland fans should go abroad and not have a drink obviously dont live on this planet!

P.S whit aboot the JT's?!

Craigy Boy. Jim Traynor is trying his hardest to be controversial and capture a pedistal that the Scottish Press simply cannot provide. If he could slag another nation, he would. But due to the Daily Record being a ONE nation paper, he can only slag the audience he has.
eg.
If he were to slag off any other nation, it would simply go un-noticed as the Record does not circulate further than Scotland (or Benidorm) so his column would have no audience or capture any controversial feedback.

Jim Traynor would like to think off himself as a big fish in our small pond. Unfortunately for him he is merely another cheap goldfish at a gala-day, with an ever decreasing shelf life.
Accept that the man will never write anything positive with regards to Scotland, whether it is concerning our domestic or our national game. This is why I/you stopped reading his column. It does not deserve you nor my time.

Christ the guy is named after a smelly pair of shoes you wear to PE.
