So what is everyones thoughts? OK, so we got Holland........ a far inferior team to both France and Italy, so we should be able to give them a good game. Norway, we can beat. Iceland we can beat. Macedonia, we can beat. So according to the FIFA Web site:
"The group winners automatically qualify, while the best eight second-placed teams go into play-offs in home and away ties to determine the remaining qualifiers. All games against the 6th placed teams (groups 1 - 8) are void. This will enable all groups 2nd place points systems to consist of equal amount of matches"
So worst case senario, we get to the play-offs as one of the Best 2nd placed teams. Where we play E**land home and away and waste them twice!!
Think the draw is fantastic - although I've picked the wrong time financially tae become a fully fledged member of the TA, **** me could it be ANY dearer tae drink in those countries?
Never mind, bring them on - we fear NO-ONE.............................

If there are any certainties then I will be traveling to Holland and Macedonia. I would like to take in Iceland but that would be an impossible amount of brownie points to accumulate. I would have to re-build the house and erect a garage for the wifes motor to get the permission granted for that trip!!
I've been poked in the ribs and laughed at in the face often enough now to know that I'm going NAEWHERE ****IN NEAR Iceland or Norway - should in fact be NO Way. If I do, the Rev Pov will be marrying me and my missus in 2009 with her wearing one of Asda Smart Prices finest refuse sacks. She speaks - I listen. She says **** - I jump on the shovel.

Holland Dull, flat and boring. Amsterdam is going to be ned city, with a small group of "let's smoke hash, get a hooker and think it's funny to urinate brigade" probably spoiling it for those who don't need a pee. Ground is brilliant and their fans are great fun too so will be a party. Wish they would play in Arnhem or somewhere else instead though instead of The Dam.
Iceland Likely to be a summer one so it won't get dark. Really knackers your sleep up. Loads of geysers spouting a racket in the wee small hours keeping you awake. If it was dark they would say shhh etc so would keep the noise down. What is it yon Bjork sings?... "Shh be quiet!" Wee ground - tickets will be as scarce as your change at the bar. Be good to see the Northern Lights?
Norway Yer having a laff. Been their too often now. The prime mortgage market will see an upturn thanks to their beer prices and the world economy will be restored if all the TA buy a couple of rounds each. Seriously dear for beer, taxis and food. Nice place, nice people and tickets easy to come by. Captain's route again for me this time
Macedonia The capital Skopje is twinned with Pumpherston except Skopje has colour telly. Should be the adventure trip costing an arm and a leg to get there but spending as much in a week as Severed Heed spends after closing time on necessities like beer and vodka (sorry Graeme!) We will only get about 3,000 tickets for that one so you'll need more points than yon boxer's driving license.
Macedonia - Depends on dates but this is the trip for me! Come on SFA, agree summer time please - a week here would be fun!!!!!! Via Germany or Belgium seems to be the way:) Iceland - First is opinion is fu ck that but hey, you never know. I'm sure it'll be costly! Norway - Same trip you guys did last time sounds a shout. Netherlands - If it's Hamsterjam, it's only over the water but agree with Stevie, less time spent here the better unless they choose an alternative city to host the game, which they might.
Happy with who we've got, all teams will be tough I think but no reason why we should dominate this group! Canna wait, anyone any ideas what date they have to agree the fixtures by?
