I'm not saying that any of you will try this but just in case you know of someone that has.
I've noticed on a few boards that a so-called hack is doing it's rounds trying to convince people that you can obtain someones Hotmail/Yahoo password, enabling you to snoop into the victims emails and account details etc...
Now this hack was on the net a few years back and it was obvious then as it is now that it is crap. Here is the breakdown of how the hack goes:

this is the real way to hack hotmail and it really works!...
You must have had your account for 10 days.
email hotmail_pswd_recovery@hotmail.com
on the subject line type "retrieve password"
on the 1st line type your password
on the 2nd line type your victims email address

and within 24 hours you should get thier password!!

Now if you breakdown the hack and look at the flaws in more detail:-

1. The email address you are sending it to is not a password recovery account at Hotmail, but instead to some sneaky b'stard who has set up a personal account using the username "hotmail_pswd_recovery"
   Hotmail themselves would never have the need to use undersores etc.
   
2. On the actual email itself, you are giving the above hacker:
   a. Your hotmail email account password (he will get your username from your email address when you send the email)
   b. 24 hrs to either **** up your account or a licence to snoop into your emails for as long as you have that account.
   
3. The victims email address has nothing to do with the hack. It is only there to convince you that you will get into their details

for example. If I was to fall for this and wanted to snoop into Deans hotmail account deano234@hotmail.com  here is who my details are now accessed.
