Scotland might have only managed a draw in Spain but the TSTA lifted The Med Bar Torrevieja Quiz Championship, largely due to The Captain knowing a lot about what Patricia Hodge looks like clothed/unclothed and the fact that he was sober. They also won the Jardin Del Mar XIII synchronised swimming tournament with an ensemble entitled "Stuff the Bolero and get another voddy doon yer neck ser" routine.

Finally the Captain also lifted The Dwarf Chucker of Benidorm contest in a closely contensted bout of an argument about a phone and a packet of fags....................................................
